Collaborators

We welcome collaborators who have a serious interest in psychoanalysis from Freud through Lacan and beyond, in its clinical and other dimensions, and in its implications for the future of humanity. Since our orientation within psychoanalysis has been derived from the clinical and metapsychological work of GIFRIC (Groupe interdisciplinaire freudien de recherche et d’interventions cliniques et culturelles) in Quebec, Canada, we expect of those who wish to join us in our work (1) that they begin (and then continue with), the five-year, one-week per year, springtime Training Seminar jointly sponsored by GIFRIC and SPIIRAL in Quebec City, a structured sequence in clinical theory. In addition, we expect of our collaborators (2) that they begin (and then continue) to participate in the activities of the Freudian School of Quebec (École freudienne de Québec).
